The length of the Chapel aisle is 110 feet long with 27 pews on each side of the aisle. ![]() The following items will be provided by the college: four chairs, two altar candles and an altar cross if desired. Please be sure to be on time for your rehearsal and not to exceed your allotted scheduled time.ĥ. 1 hour of rehearsal time (this generally occurs the night before the ceremony).Persons must understand that occasionally several events are scheduled for the same day in the Chapel therefore, a reservation entitles the party to use the Chapel for: Refunds will be made only if reservations are canceled six months prior to the scheduled date.Ĥ. Reservations will not be accepted before the college calendar is approved. ![]() No reservation will be accepted until a deposit is received. Reservations for the Bates Chapel must be made through the Conference and Campus Events Office and approved by the College Chaplain. ![]() We also require you to purchase TULIP Insurance.ģ. For Bates students, staff, alumni/ae and their immediate families, the rental fee is $250.00. The fee for the general public to rent the Chapel is $500.00. The Bates College Chapel is available for weddings and ceremonies of commitment between same sex partners, provided these events do not conflict with regularly scheduled college functions.Ģ. A lot of my friends and work colleagues (art directors and photo editors) all revelled at her work. They made me so happy and excited to share them with family and friends. The images were incredible, and not just because my husband is a 11 out of 10. On top of that- seeing my husbands smile so big since the wedding melted my heart. Lauren was able to bring these moments back to us and let us revel in it, and I can’t thank her enough for this. In the chaos and stress of getting married there are lots of parts which just get lost and forgotten. Going through the images with my husband allowed us to relive the day. Lauren sent us our images less than two weeks after the wedding!! In the industry it’s usually around a six week turn around- is just insane how fast she got our photos to us! This shows how much she loves her job and how excited she is to go over the images and start editing. She adjusted her time schedule with ease when times got switched around and was still able to get the most amazing images. Lauren was patient and kind and walked us through a lot of the poses- I might steal actually steal some of her techniques! Lauren went above and beyond on the day and even got shots I didn’t ask for which of course turned out beautiful.
